Our Story

From the Savannah to Your Snack Box

Biltong was born out of necessity, and brilliance. Indigenous people of southern Africa pioneered the art of air-drying and salting meat centuries ago. Dutch settlers refined it in the 1600s, packing it for the Great Trek across the vast Karoo.

Today, it remains South Africa's most beloved snack. We bring that same tradition, unchanged, unapologetic, straight to your door in Milton Keynes and the UK.

Meet Droëwors — South Africa's Favourite Stick

Droëwors — literally "dry sausage" in Afrikaans — is the road-trip snack of an entire nation. Made from beef mince with a signature spice blend of coriander, cloves, and nutmeg, it's stuffed into thin casings and hung to dry.

Unlike its European cousins, droëwors uses no fat-heavy pork. It's leaner, lighter, and far more protein-dense. Once you hear that satisfying snap, there's no going back.
